Huge DC LEGO Office

In early 2022, after nearly 2 full years of 100% remote work, Huge began preparations for a company-wide Return-to-Office (RTO) hybrid work requirement. This was especially meaningful for the DC office, as the workspace had been undergoing renovations since the end of 2019 and employees had not yet experienced the renovated office space.

To celebrate both of these events, I proposed designing a scale model of our workspace, ready for coworkers to participate in and build collaboratively.

Over the next two months, I designed an intricately-detailed model of that space, using architectural blueprints and reference photos to detail every conference room, desk, and table to make this LEGO model both look and feel like the real space, eventually creating a 4,000+ piece model. As part of the design, I split the space into two halves, then built customized instructions allowing for both halves to be built at the same time. This offered a way for 4-6 people to work simultaneously on the office at once.
